Do You Have What It Takes?
Have you ever wanted to help others? Maybe even help a family member or neighbor in their greatest time of need? Come and join us and become a firefighter with the Darien Fire Department. We will provide you free training, free equipment; all you need to do is give us is some of your time and a willingness to learn. If you are between the ages of 14-18 we also have the Fire Department Explorer Post for young people to learn what it takes to be a firefighter and participate in some of the fire district activities.
It takes a special person to fill the boots of a paid-on-call firefighter. It takes someone with the desire to do something important for the community; someone with the courage and dedication, who isn’t afraid of hard work, and willing to accept the challenge of a difficult job. If you are up to the challenge contact 262-745-2261 to discuss employment opportunities.
